Wykamol Overseal Tape is used for sealing over joints between Wykamol cavity drain membranes and other materials. They can also be used for sealing around services and “difficult” details. Typically the 75mm width Overseal tape is used for sealing butt joints and overlaps. Wykamol Corner Tape is a 150 mm wide tape with many uses, but most commonly used to seal membranes from walls to floors and fixing perimeter drainage channels in place. Wykamol CM20 High Capacity Waterproofing Membrane is on walls, floors, vaults and tunnels with minimal surface preparation required. Also suitable for external foundation waterproofing and internal above ground waterproofing to provide insulated dry lining where conventional plaster finishes are not suitable.

Platon Plaster Base can be installed on internal walls and vaulted ceilings above or below ground level. The substrate remains visible through the clear membrane for precise fixing. Platon P5 is a tough and economical membrane for both remedial and new build construction. It is suitable for sub-ground tanking and also for use above ground to isolate walls which are damp or contaminated with salts. For Membrane Joints

Platon Tape is a blue butyl tape which is used for joining Platon membranes along the flange where any of these membranes overlap. It is used for abutting joints, for repairs or where membranes have been cut to enable them to overlap, for example at corners, reveals, wall/floor joints or protrusions through the membrane.

Platon Corner Strip is a black PVC backed one-sided tape which is used for connecting and sealing all the Platon membranes together where they join or overlap. It is used for abutting joints, for repairs or where membranes have been cut to enable them to overlap, for example at corners, reveals, wall/floor joints or protrusions through the membrane. It should be regarded as an excellent general purpose sealing and repair product.

Visqueen V8 is used as a wall membrane and part of the Visqueen Cavity Drain System. The system is typically used for internally tanking basements, sub structures and retaining walls within new, existing and retrofit build projects. The system can also be used for heritage buildings and in conservations projects.

Visqueen Masonry Plugs are made from Polyoxymethylene and are 10mm diameter and 75mm in length. The plug is used in conjunction with Visqueen Sealing Rope around the rim of the plug to effectively form a sealing gasket between the plug and vertically  xed membrane. It is intended for use into soft brick or stone.

Cavity Drain R20 is used in situations where site conditions or structural design make it difficult or impossible to use traditional tanking methods. Cavity Drain R20 is used to collect water entering the structure and channel it to a sump or collection point for disposal (see details). When designing Type C (drained) protection, as classified in BS 8102: 2009, the product applied correctly, is capable of providing the levels of protection required for Grade 1, 2 & 3 basements.

Sika® Cavity Drainage membranes can be used where site conditions or the design of the structure make it difficult to use Sika® 1 Pre-Bagged Waterproofing System or other traditional tanking methods.
